Slideshow ads typically helps generate a story. When you want a large number of products (say 20)  to be shown in a single ad. This is the best ad type. Use 5 products with a 1 sec interval in 4 carousal cards and you are good to go.

E.g. Say you are a car brand.

You can show front , right & left profile of the same product in a single card.
